Cette recherche, men\u00e9e sur des adultes en bonne sant\u00e9 \u00e2g\u00e9s de plus de 64 ans, a mis en \u00e9vidence un allongement significatif des t\u00e9lom\u00e8res \u2013 les extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s prot\u00e9ctrices des chromosomes dont le raccourcissement est associ\u00e9 au vieillissement \u2013 apr\u00e8s 60 s\u00e9ances d\u2019OHB. Parall\u00e8lement, une r\u00e9duction de 37% des cellules s\u00e9nescentes (cellules \u00ab\u00a0zombies\u00a0\u00bb qui acc\u00e9l\u00e8rent le vieillissement) a \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9e. Ces r\u00e9sultats exceptionnels ouvrent de nouvelles perspectives pour l\u2019utilisation de l\u2019OHB comme outil de m\u00e9decine pr\u00e9ventive et de longev\u00e9t\u00e9. En augmentant la pression en oxyg\u00e8ne dans les cellules, l\u2019OHB active des voies m\u00e9taboliques qui favorisent la r\u00e9paration de l\u2019ADN, la s\u00e9nescence cellulaire et la production d\u2019antioxydants endogen\u00e8s.
